Game Designer

OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.

Right now we are looking for a Game Designer to join our team.

TASKS:

·      Writing and updating game documentation
·      Working on game mechanics and combat mechanics, developing new systems and game elements
·      Overseeing the complete implementation of new game elements by providing design specifications and interacting with other development teams
·      Scripting game elements in Unity

REQUIREMENTS:

·      Writing and updating game documentation
·      Extensive experience in playing video games, in particular RPGs and turn-based tactics, understanding of the ins and outs of these game genres and their mechanics
·      Experience in working on game projects (preferably RPGs, tactics games, and strategy games), at least one of which was launched on a major gaming platform (Steam, Google Play, etc.)
·      Experience in writing design documents and their implementation
·      Experience in developing elements of game mechanics and combat mechanics
·      Experience in creating and scripting game entities
·      Ability to make a convincing argument
·      Good command of English
