Team, about the role

We are looking for a specialist with experience in video game or software localization and excellent English proficiency. Your work will bring joy to millions of players worldwide, allowing them to enjoy Playrix games in their native language.

Tasks

● Coordination of the entire localization workflow, including file preparation, translation, review, and delivery.
● Ensuring that all localized content aligns with the language, tone, and cultural nuances of the target audience.
● Utilizing Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, such as MemoQ, for effective project management.
● Implementing automation solutions to reduce manual tasks and enhance productivity.
● Maintaining thorough linguistic and functional quality assurance processes to deliver polished localized assets.
● Addressing quality issues in collaboration with language specialists and QA teams.
● Identifying potential risks or bottlenecks in the localization process and implementing mitigation strategies.
● Documenting lessons learned and contributing to the improvement of localization workflows.
● Collaborating with internal teams, such as development, marketing, and QA, to align localization needs and expectations.
● Maintaining strong relationships with external vendors, linguists, and technology providers.

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
● Proven experience managing localization projects, ideally in gaming, software, or media industries.
● Strong understanding of localization workflows, including file preparation, translation memory management, and QA.
● Cultural awareness and sensitivity to regional nuances.
● Proficiency in tools such as MemoQ, Gridly, Intento, and GitHub.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and vendors.
● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and resolve challenges effectively.
● Meticulous approach to managing project details, timelines, and deliverables.
● Proficiency in English (required); additional languages are a plus.
