Currently, we are looking for a Senior Environment/Material Artist for one of the studio's leading projects - SPINE.
SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.
This project represents a new ambitious challenge for the company as it marks our first game for both PC and consoles.
Responsibilities:
- Improve the visual quality of objects and optimize performance.
- Work with shaders and materials.
- Create textures and texture masks.
- Collaborate with 3D artists to work on props and levels.
- Search and implement new technical solutions to fulfill assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience with UE 5/4, knowledge of Material Editor
- Experience creating materials for first- or third-person games for PC and consoles
- Experience with Substance Designer
- Understanding the principles of PBR and Material layering
- Ability to independently search for technical information and solutions using various sources.
