Moonwell games is looking for a Unity developer and an asset implementer who is going to work closely with designers and artists.
We’re developing a story-focused pixel art character-action game with high emphasis on animation and game feel.
Responsibilities:
- Navigate and augment a very large existing code base.
- Export and implement complicated 2D assets.
- Follow coding standards and best practices.
- Work cohesively with a team of a programmer, artists and a designer.
- Implement most aspects of the game using existing systems (that includes constructing game objects of enemies and coding their behavior, setting up scenes and their triggers and so on).
- Making new systems.
Essentials:
- Unity and C# 2+ years of experience.
- Extensive git knowledge.
- Adaptability and desire to improve.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
- Some Tech Art skills.
Desirables:
- Shipped games, preferably cross platform.
- Editor scripting experience.
- Some game design knowledge. Extensive experience playing character-action and souls-likes.
- Shader programming experience.
